5 States in 24 hours...

Saturday, I was in Connecticut with the girls for the annual Prophecy summer picnic; I stayed much later than I should have, so it's my own fault that I only got 6 hours of sleep before leaving Massachusetts the next morning to go to Maine for the Ring Family Reunion.  Four hour drive, 3 hours there, then on 4 hours west to Vermont, with a stop in New Hampshire at the little cemetary where my Dad's parents are buried.  Yesterday we only left the house to get maple creemies; today, we're talking about hiking Mount Hunger.  Tomorrow we go to my niece's horse show, and Thursday is Santa's village.  Between times enjoying time with parents, siblings, and nephews and niece.

Currently burning the candle at both ends; up with Joy in the morning, up at night talking with my "baby" sister.    Who needs sleep?

I'll have you beat in 2.5 weeks, though. ;) Or, if I decide to take a different route, ti'll be 5 states in 12 hours... :D "We can sleep when we're dead," is how the saying goes, right? :)

I do miss being up North at times, I have to say. But no way would Beth move up there, so...

She's worth far more than living southerly. :)
