Enjoying the Catastrophe of Living
Jun. 26th, 2009 08:56 pmGoing to Vermont early tomorrow to watch Mom so my step Dad can get 15 minutes off. He is very excited because it means he'll be able to mow the lawn.
Charles and his Mom are starting to fight at a normal (unhappy)level, proving she's improving.
I have 4 to 5 stories to write by August 1st for StarRise.
Leah lost her retainer again Wednesday night, wrecking that evening. I was on call last night, which pretty much says it all. Tonight I have to pack, then fall down. Have to remember the book on tape of Jane Austen's Emma that Charles bought me for Mother's Day for this very purpose. How to make 9 hours of driving in two days happy and productive....
I need about 6 hours, rested and alone, with a calendar and notebook to make sense of my life. Somehow I don't think that's going to happen....
