Fairwell, my bright Rachenza
May. 31st, 2009 10:02 pmProphecy 2.5 is over, and it's almost a year before I can return to Arden. And then, I'll be playing a widow with six grown children instead of either the naive Tlena or the worldly and courageous (and bitchy and outrageous) Alethia. I look forward to the future, look back fondly and a little wistfully on the past. And I'm far too tired to post anything of actual substance about this wonderful, cathartic, FUN weekend.
You know that feeling of using everything you have, of being down to your last drop of strength, of already figuring out where and how you're going to fall when the next blow takes you out...and winning? Three times, this weekend. Amazing.
Oh, and I wrote a song. On the back of a napkin while waiting to go off on a mission. It has no relevance to anything, so naturally it already has a tune to go with the words. (When I do this on purpose, it takes hours if not weeks. Inspiration is a fickle bitch.)
More when I regain sentience.
