Good Enough

I'm struggling with the need to give, and the fear of rejection.  We all face this, deal with it, but sometimes our own imperfection is so overwhelming that we throw out the baby with the bathwater.  It isn't perfect, therefore it isn't good enough.

Life is too short for this--too short for fear, too short for regrets, too short not to give.  In the end, if we are giving of ourselves, it doesn't need to be perfect.  It doesn't even need to be good.  By definition, it is good enough.

This year, I'm taking a leap.  Wish me a soft landing.
