Ahh, New England.
We lost power 3AM Friday morning, and woke to cold, dark, and no school. Charles kept the girls busy all day without power (because, of course, my office was one of the few local places WITH power), and Friday supper was instant oatmeal and decaf tea cooked in a fondue pot over sterno. Saturday morning we finally decided to evacuate to a friend's house, where 3 families enjoyed heat, water, and light...until right after dinner, when they lost power, too. Then it was musical houses to the 3rd family's home, which had a fireplace, and had seredipitously regained power at just that time. Very social, very happy, very tiring. Now we're home again. I'd post more, but a hot shower and warm bed are calling my name.
