Shoe Shopping
Aug. 3rd, 2008 09:32 pm A few days ago I went shoe shopping with my nine year old, as her single pair of sneakers that still fit were drenched and unlikely to dry for camp the next day. We quickly determined that she no longer fits in anything in the kids department, so it was our first true mother-daughter shopping experience. We even bought matching sneakers, mine in size eight, hers in six and a half.
I'm fighting between thoughts of , heavens, she's going to be tall! And, boy, am I broke! (Kids shoes are much cheaper.)
Oh, well. If I play my cards right I could be inheriting some shoes from her...in about another year....
