IT'S HERE!!!!!

My preordered copy of Deva Fagan's first book, Fortune's Folly, arrived today, just on the release date! And, unlike the fateful day when Rosemary Clement Moore's Highway to Hell arrived, it is no longer Lent! That means I could, theoretically, stay up all night to finish it.

Of course, this whole "Give up self-destructive behavior" thing was supposed to be the template for a life of self-realization and enlightenment. Hmmm...enlightenment, book. Enlightenment, book. I'll have to get back to you on this one...

Well, I'd hate to have my book forever associated in your mind with guilty feelings over doing something you didn't really want to do. :-)

Yeah, I've realized that in multiple aspects of my life....

I was good. I stopped at 185 pages. And my hands are only shaking slightly with the effort not to drop everything and go finish it. :>

Yes, it's a really awesome book! I'm liking where it's going!

It's also interesting that I feel I know her "voice" now, that I could pick up something else by her and identify it as hers.
